Love visiting here no matter what the season. It's fun to watch the boats launch in the summer and the ice fishing in the winter. Best time to come is early evening, right before sunset because the sunsets from here are spectacular. Periodically, the historical society opens the cove warehouse building for tours. There is so much history here...how can there not be from a building that dates back to the 17th century?
My local hangout. Beautiful area, view of the Connecticut River. Nice walking trails in the woods. Seagulls aplenty, ducks, and even saw a Blue Heron. Popular boat launch.
My favorite place to grab a bite and relax so peaceful, it take the stress of the day off your shoulders and daughter love feeding the birds.
