Nice friendly atmosphere
Such a great place to visit. So much history. Everyone is so welcoming
The museum has a lot of historical information about the town, so if you're curious about that type of thing, it's definitely worth a stop. The building is small and offers self-guided tours, which took about 30 minutes for us. I'd definitely go back because I felt I could have spent more time reading and learning about the town.
The Connecticut prison historical exhibit is worth seeing, as well as the exhibit on Wethersfield history. I found the info on architecture of local neighborhoods of particular interest.
Nice cultural center. Can be rented for events such as Fairs, crafts and local art. Has parking but lot fills quickly (accommodates around 55 vehicles.
