My stay here was less than pleasant. My boyfriend came from our of town last minute we stayed here and needed a smoking room. There were no smoking rooms unless we paid 85.00 for a big room which we did. It was 13 degrees outside and we let the heat run for 2 hours stayed cool.. never heated up called the desk they came to check it out determined the heat did not work so my choice was freeze to death or move to noon smoking room. very inconvenient because we had to go outside in 13 degree weather to smoke. Needless to say we weren't given compensation.
Actually hotel was in good location with restaurants, stores and gas station in immediate vicinity. Rooms were simple but clean. Problem was that hot water was not working for 2 days over Christmas stay but the staff did not apologize nor was there compensation for guests.
The owner Erica of the Hartford Weathersfield Motel 6 runs the hotel in the utmost way of any Motel I have ever stayed at. with 272 rooms they are clean and modern updated rooms, from the the walls, Bed, Table and chairs, the dresser, and bathroom and tub and shower. They are spotless. House keepers are there daily to clean, change the bed, and refill soaps and clean towels daily. It is the most welcoming Motel with the Desk manager and assistance Office Desk help. They are there for you in a second making sure your stay is very pleasant and Happy 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. they make sure you are safe as well, I was alone and they made sure I was safe also, screening phone calls by calling my room and letting me know who was calling and also with any visitors. I was so Happy there with every part of the Motel staff's friendliness and welcoming smiles 24/7. They are also pet friendly and have the cleanest grounds on the entire property and I never had to be careful walking around and having to make sure I didn't step in dog mess I appreciated that more than I can say because there were many dogs during my stay. I cannot say enough that this Motel 6 is the absolute best Motel I have ever stayed at. My hat off to Erica and her entire staff and I will say Jennifer was the biggest help of all who was behind the desk during most of my stay. The weekend Man behind the desk, Kris was very helpful in every way possible. I would recommend this Motel to everyone I know. Clean, beautiful, friendly and most helpful Motel 6 in the state of CT. God bless the owner and Customer service. The price for my motel was very reasonable. They give veteran discounts, for those who served our country. I was traveling with my fur baby, and the front desk was so lovely and friendly to her. Being PET friendly is a plus, great customer service, clean/nicely decorative room. Also, I didn't have to order for delivery. I walked to the store that was about 10 feet from my room. AWESOME! Apple sauce
Motel 6 provides good value for its price. Our room was clean and bright and the office staff were very friendly. The motel is also convenient to restaurants, shopping, and major highways.
